Sheffield Village & Estates of Wellington make up a family-friendly community conveniently located close to Custer Elementary School and just minutes from Historic Downtown Monroe nestled right on the River Raisin.

These communities have always been a great place for all walks of life. It’s common to see kids playing, folks walking their dogs, or neighbors discussing the latest things happening in the community. It’s a great place to raise a family, and with it only being minutes away from I-75, it’s the perfect spot for quick access to Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo. While there are certainly great amenities nearby, our neighborhood is carefully placed to provide our residents a little slice of serenity separation from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by trees and open fields. Make no mistake about it; this “city” neighborhood has a homey country feel.

All building sites are conveniently located in a private setting off of S. Dixie Highway. Check us out for yourself - We’re located about a quarter mile past Albian Road going south.

Somerset Place Community, located off of Dunbar and Telegraph, is our newest offering designed towards singles and empty-nesters. Your grass is cut, your snow is plowed, and your trash is picked weekly. Each condominium features an open and well-designed layout. There is plenty of room for dining and relaxing, with two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. You can learn more about this community and join the waitlist here.

Upscale living without the upkeep

Located off of Telegraph Rd. just minutes away from Downtown Monroe’s expanding shopping and dining district, these condominiums are an affordable option not only for the empty-nesters, but young couples and singles. We love Somerset because it provides a perfect convenience for those that don’t want the added work and upkeep that comes with owning a home, but still value high-end finishes and a well-built place to call home. Somerset Place is surrounded by trees and far back enough to feel that sense of privacy. We’re constantly working to turn this into an upscale, but accessible community, and demand for these condominiums has proven that to be a success. You can learn more about them and sign up for our wait list right here.

Monroe County: A place for your family to live & play

Ever taken a stroll through one of Monroe’s 38 parks? Or sunk a hole in one at one of our 40+ golf courses (Monroe County is #1 in the state for golf courses per capita). Or maybe you’re a foodie. Grab the 13-8-on-9 at Erie Bread Co. or a craft brew on draft at Northside Bar & Grille. We know how to have fun in Monroe. Oh, and did we mention that our downtown sits on a river? Or that within a few minutes drive, we can be sprawled out on a boat on one of Michigan’s Great Lakes?

Some of the top schools in the state of Michigan

Monroe County boasts some of the best public and private schools in the state with 10 school districts each with their own unique benefits. We’re also home to Monroe Community College which offers highly specialized programs to start your career. Many successful leaders and professionals began their journey at MCCC which later took them to the likes of University of Michigan and beyond.

Close to three of the Midwest’s best cities

Perhaps the best feature of Monroe is the small town feel with less than 40 minutes to big city life. Head up to Comerica Park in Detroit to catch a Tigers game after work, or down to Toledo for a nice dinner on the docks. And we don’t have to tell you how great Ann Arbor is, you’ve likely already read about it.

The best part? You get to avoid the every day hustle and bustle by coming home to Monroe after a night out.
